Whether its your ancestors that fought or the history, reenacting is a fun hobby.
How do you get into reenacting?
Check the events near you and talk to the people at the camps at the event. They will help you find a unit that suits you will and get you to the person you need to talk to in Artillery, Calvary, Infantry, Hospital, and Civilian. Most of the time units have extra gear to loan out to people for the day to try it out, that means dresses also for you ladies. Itcan cost a little money as a donation for powder is normally $5-$10. Bring your wallet though cause you might find something you want to buy once you “dress out.” You can also find a lot of units on Facebook by searching for unit names.
